A High-Performance Version of the Chevy Cruze Hatch
Chevrolet has shown the 2017 Cruze Hatch at the NAIAS. The chiefs started to hint at new versions.
The GM North America Executive Vice President assured in his interview with CarAdvice that there is a chance of a high-performance version. The model is said to be based on a global architecture and is opened up to a large line-up of motor options. The chief did not go into details, but hinted at a hot hatch as well.
The model under consideration will reach market this autumn. It has sporty design and accommodating cargo compartment. The last one has room for 47.2 cubic feet of luggage under the condition of folded rear sets. The offering is regular. It received a MyLink infotainment set-up with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.
The vehicle can boast leather seats, projector-beam headlights with LED daytime running lights integrated in them and a heated helm. A whole bunch of safety systems, such as Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Rear Park Assist, Lane Keep Assist and Side Blind Zone Alert can be obtained.
The power is received thankfully to a 1.4-litre turbocharged V4 unit. It is able to develop 153 hp and torque of 177 pound-feet.
