Nurburgring Leakage of Cadillac ATS-V Coupe 2016
Heavily disguised prototype of the developing ATS-V Coupe got into the spy cameras in Germany.
New Cadillac might be a serious rival to a coupe from BMW. Despite full-body disguise it becomes clear that the alterations areas include an aggressive approach to styling manifested in changed grille, massive front bumper and rear spoiler as well as improved aerodynamics details. Closer to powerplant one might be interested in high-specification brakes, huge exhaust and boosted suspension.
For lack of official information the only resort left is to consider the rumours indicating either a 3.2-litre six-cylinder developing more than 500 bhp, or a twin-turbo cylinder counterpart with a larger displacement, but lower output. ATS-V Plus modification is a candidate for eight cylinders. Only transmission choice leaves little doubt: engineers decided on a manual for seven speeds with the possibility of opting for an automatic one for eight speeds.
Even an approximate release date is still unknown, but as the indicated model year is 2016, the vehicle will surely arrive not later than next December.
