Discover Bugatti's Stunning New Exclusive Hypercar: Brouillard
Elevating Exclusivity to New Heights
Update: This article has been refreshed with live images and footage from The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering.
For a marque as esteemed as Bugatti, rarity is paramount. While limited editions like the Tourbillons and Chirons are highly sought after, the most affluent clients seek unparalleled uniqueness. Responding to this demand, Bugatti unveils a pioneering initiative tailored for these discerning collectors.
Introducing Programme Solitaire
Programme Solitaire represents Bugatti's avant-garde one-of-a-kind service, expanding upon the brand's traditional coachbuilding heritage. This program empowers Bugatti's elite clientele to design an automotive masterpiece that is both singular and exclusive.
The Debut of Brouillard
The Brouillard stands as the first creation under Programme Solitaire, showcasing Bugatti's dedication to bespoke excellence. Built on the robust W-16 architecture shared with the Chiron and Mistral, the Brouillard boasts a lightweight carbon fiber and aluminum chassis, a quad-turbocharged engine, and an impressive 1,578 horsepower.
Design Inspirations and Features
Drawing significant inspiration from the convertible Mistral, the Brouillard features sleek horizontal LED lights at the front and subtle dark accents across the bumper. Its rear is adorned with iconic arrow-shaped LED taillights and a prominent "BUGATTI" logo, complemented by a stylish fixed ducktail spoiler that enhances its aerodynamic profile.
Innovative Cabin Design
Unlike the Mistral, the Brouillard incorporates a fixed glass roof, offering a more spacious and illuminated interior. The seamless center spine design flows elegantly from the front to the rear, granting an unobstructed view from within the vehicle.
Luxurious Interior Craftsmanship
The cabin harmoniously blends custom tartan-patterned fabrics with green-tinted carbon fiber and precision-machined aluminum elements. Door panels and seat backs feature embroidered horse motifs, paying homage to Ettore Bugatti's iconic emblem. The seats are ergonomically molded to the driver's specifications, and the gear shifter includes a glass inset showcasing a miniature horse.
A Vision of Elegance and Power
"Creating a simplistic aesthetic is inherently complex. The design must integrate advanced technological requirements, encompassing the thermodynamics and aerodynamics of a 1,578-horsepower hyper sports car, all while adhering to a fundamental principle of dignity," — Frank Heyl, Bugatti Design Director.
Exclusivity and Availability
Bugatti has not disclosed a specific price for this unparalleled hypercar, but it is anticipated to exceed $30 million. The Brouillard is one of only two custom models slated for production each year under Programme Solitaire.
Enthusiasts will have the opportunity to experience the Brouillard firsthand at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, scheduled to take place next week in Carmel, California.
