Power on Ice Event will Show off Bentley Bentayga
Bentley has revealed that the Bentayga crossover will celebrate the ice driving first performance at the automaker’s next Power on Ice gathering.
The event starts on January 27 this year and will last for 4 days. It will give participants an outstanding experience. The participants will check a whole assortment of the models under consideration on a specially created ice tracks.
There will be two days of ice driving training organized by the Bentley Ice Diving Team. Juha Kankkunen, the 2-time ice-speed record winner and 4-time World Rally Champion, will give instructions. Besides, he will be on hand to take the guests on the track’s fast laps.
Outside the track there will be a place for relaxing time at the Chalet Ruka Peak. The place will please the visitors with a traditional smoke sauna and Finnish cuisine in the height of fashion. Those who take part can also rent snowmobiles. Having a snowmobile they will have a night time safaris sled by husky. The participants will be delivered to a historic reindeer farm.
One has to pay €11,900. Though, there are even more expensive accommodations for participants.
The drivers of the Bentayga should expect the 6.0L W12 twin-turbo unit. The engine is able to generate torque of 900 Nm and 608 hp (or 447 kW). The engine is matched to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and an all-wheel drive set-up. All this allows the offering to sprint from 0-60 mph in 4.0 seconds. Its top speed stands at 187 mph (or 301 km/h).
