Bentley Mulsanne Convertible Won't be Constructed
The Bentley Mulsanne convertible won’t see production, the British company’s CEO Wolfgang Shreiber has informed.
According to Shreiber, the reason is that the concept, which was uncovered to a private audience, didn’t receive enough demand. A year ago, Bentley delivered 1,169 Mulsanne models so it wasn’t likely that the Mulsanne convertible would be manufactured regardless.
Shreiber announced that though the Mulsanne convertible would have sold well in the U.S. and Europe, there just wasn’t enough demand for a profitable business case. And considering Bentley is spending heavily into creating its SUV vehicle, it’s no surprise that the Mulsanne convertible has been suspended.
