The R8 Spyder V10 Plus Is Audi's Fastest Convertible
The automaker has presented the 2nd-gen R8 V10 Spyder almost a year ago during the NY Auto Show. Only now the droptop unit receives the powered-up plus version.
The soft-top Spyder is equipped with Ingolstadt’s most powerful series-production motor. That is a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated 10-cylinder that is able to produce 610 hp and torque of 413 pound-feet.
This power jump allows the company’s range-topping cabrio conquering the 0-62 mph in just 3.3 seconds. The top speed stands at 204 mph.
The vehicle can be obtained on the R8 Spyder V10 Plus. Inside the cabin everything is black and in Nappa leather upholstery with green stitching.
As regular, the R8 Spyder V10 Plus received lots of goodies, such as bucket seats, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, light alloy forged wheels and ceramic brakes.
