Nurburgring is Testing the 2018 Audi A8
The innovated Audi A8 was caught testing at the Nürburgring.
The 4th gen of the automaker’s full size sedan is the 1rst vehicle created from scratch under new design chief.
The model is almost the same size as the previous offering. Thankfully to the new MLBevo chassis, the car will lose weight. By the way, the same platform is used for the Bentley Bentayga, the A4 and the Q7.
The MLV platform allows the considered offering to access a plug-in hybrid powerplant along with a line of regular petrol and diesel units. Expect a usual range of engines with a 600 hp W12 unit finishing the higher end.
Probably, the vehicle will look like the Audi Prologue concept featuring a wide enclosure and sharp headlamps.
According to the automaker, the latest A8 will debut next year.
