Audi may introduce h-tron Quattro Concept in Detroit
Audi showed off its e-tron quattro concept at the Motor Show held in Frankfurt. According to the latest report, the automaker will introduce a new h-tron quattro concept at the NAIAS.
The h-trop quattro is supposed to preview the Audi’s 2018 Q6. Reports indicate that it will look virtually the same with the e-tron quattro concept. The thing that differs will be its new fuel-cell powerplant.
There are no many facts about the new concept. We know that the e-tron quattro concept was equipped with an electric powerplant. The powerplant included 3 electric mills and a lithium-ion battery. If you remember, the combined output of the concept’s motors stood at 429 hp (or 320 kW). We suppose that the number will be raised up to 496 hp (or 370 kW). The torque will probably stand at 590 lb-ft (or 800 Nm).
Thankfully to the powerful electric mills, the crossover was able to sprint from 0-62 mph (or 0-100 km/h) in just 4.6 seconds. Its electronically-caped speed was 130 mph (or 210 km/h). The offering was able to ride the excess of 311 miles (or 500 km) on a single charge.
Let us wait and see what the differences between the two concepts will be. Audi is developing hydrogen-powered cars now. We are curious to see what will turn out.
