Audi TT Ultra Quattro Model Showed in Details
The magnificent Audi TT Ultra Quattro model sheds 660 lbs over the ordinary TT S coupe making it one of the most special TTs ever constructed.
Weighing in at 2,449 lbs Audi revealed the model at the annual Worthersee GTI event in Austria yesterday. More than 220 lbs were cut from the main body and exterior panels alone while a lot of carbon fiber that plays its part to the rest of the weight loss.
Talking about interior, Audi R8 GT bucket seats further lower the weight by 48 lbs while the lightweight wheels are 44 lbs lighter than factory ones. The TT Ultra Quattro model is enhanced by the TT S’s 2.0-liter, turbo-4 engine but has been set for more performance with 306 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque.
According to the German brand, the TT Ultra Quattro model accelerates to 62 mph 1.3 sec quicker than the TT S, clocking in at 4.2 sec. Upgrades aren’t all about weight and more performance though, the ultra TT also has stiffer suspension, carbon-ceramic brake rotors, an sharp aerodynamic package, and next-gen tech such as cameras instead of mirrors and a brand-new digital instrument system.
