Audi Q7 of 2015 Shows Probable Styling Evolution
The Audi Q7 of second generation has gained a commercialized digital rendering shown on the last images.
The innovated Audi Q7 was seen while its testing with minimal hiding and now X-Tomi Design wants to present what is covered under the curtains. The Prologue concept’s design should not be expected to rub off on the Q7 of the second generation, since the full-size SUV’s design has finished before Marc Lichte became a company’s styling director.
Instead of this, the Audi Q7 of 2015 will admit an evolutionary styling by developing a measurably less large outlook thankfully for the more angular design. At the time when the SUV’s outlook will not become the main departure as in comparison with today’s offering, all the rest will as the variant will ride on the MLB Evo platform which will lessen the weight on 800 lbs (or 363 kg) at the time when matrix LED headlamps will be available optionally.
The six- and eight-cylinder powertrains available today will continue to be used and gain some updating. There are rumours about a SQ7 topping the lineup with a system sourced from the RSS TDI concept which gained an additory electric turbocharger. A Q7 e-tron should also be expected to come out with the hardware alike in the Porsche Cayenne S-E Hybrid.
Audi Q7 of the second generation is scheduled to go on sale in the beginning of 2015. A Q8 variant will follow it in 2016 and 2017 with a body design in the same vein as the X6 model from BMW.
