A3 Hatchback from Audi Might Head to Canada
At the presentation of the newest A3 the company announced that North American market would only receive sedans to sell. Recent information defies this statement.
A corresponding tweet has appeared at the official page of Audi. The company is currently deciding whether A3 Sportback will be shipped to Canada.
Normally, U.S. customers will perceive the model with five doors as a wagon. Among the others, this marketing difficulty became one of the reasons for the car not to be offered to American clients.
Audi’s vehicles traditionally obtain good sales in Europe and Canada might be a successful variant, considering the previous experience of dealing with this part of North America not including the USA.
Nevertheless, the American launch is not out of the question.
If the German carmaker approves Canada as an outlet country, the sales will start not earlier than next year.
American customers may buy the sedan version of 2015 Audi A3 for $29,900.
