A New Enclosure of Audi S3 Cabrio Facelift
The facelifted S3 Cabrio from Audi has been caught by paparazzi during testing in Northern Europe.
The updated version is recognised due the familiar design. However, the vehicle has a new front fascia and a revised enclosure, bigger air inlets and redesigned headlamps. The rear end was carried over. Though, the production offering might receive some minor changes along with updated taillights.
The manufacturer has not revealed much information about the facelifted car. Expect it to have an updated cabin and an optional Audi Virtual Cockpit set-up including a digital instrument cluster with a 12.3-inch screen. You will also find an upgraded infotainment system with Apple CarPlay compatibility.
It looks like power will come from a 2.0-litre turbocharged V4 engine producing 296 hp and torque of 280 pound-feet. The engine will be joined to an S tronic transmission and a quattro 4-wheel drive set-up. The vehicle will be able to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 5.4 seconds. Its top speed will be 155 mph.
The facelifted S3 Cabrio from Audi will debut sometime later in 2016. We have heard that it will be presented at the Motor Show held in Paris.
