2017 Audi S4 and RS4 can be equipped with Turbo V6

The next gen offering could boast a new turbocharged six-cylinder engine instead of the supercharged six-cylinder which equips the S4 now.

Auto Zeitung suggests that the 3.0-litre motor is capable of producing 350 hp. This makes 17 hp more than the previous offering. By the way, the last A4 is 200 lbs thinner. Therefore, expect a really quick sportive sedan.

The German site mentions that the S4 will be disclosed in September at this year’s Motor Show in Frankfurt.

Moreover, gossips suggest that the RS4 will be presented in 2016. It is going to ride with the improved variant of the turbocharged six-cylinder engine that equips the S4. The motor will probably output 500 hp. This fact proves it to be significantly more powerful than the previous RS4. That model used a naturally aspirated 4.2-litre eight-cylinder engine.
