2016 Audi A4 hides its Revamped Styling in the Last Spy Images
Paparazzi have spied the innovated Audi A4’s production body during its testing and have caught its photographs.
The design of the forthcoming Audi A4 (B9) adopted an evolutionary outlook with more sharp lines in the same vein as the Q7 on spy images which were taken yesterday. Looks like Audi’s former sedan of the entry level will be larger for distancing itself from the A3 Sedan. In a result it will gain a longer wheelbase. This will grant additory cabin room, especially in the back part of the vehicle.
Technical information is currently in low supply, though, chances are that the rebuilded Audi A4 will ride on the MLB EVO platform. This will enable a significant weight loss of nearly 200 lbs (or 100 kg). There are rumours that one of the powertrains will be offered as a 1.4 TFSI and will be equipped with a special system of cylinder deactivation. This system will be capable to shut two of the cylinders off in 36 milliseconds at the time of medium and low loads as a special measure for reducing fuel absorption by 0.5 litres in 100 km.
A plug-in hybrid version must be expected sometime later in the A4’s life scheme. The model will mix up a 2.0-litre TFSI powertrain producing 211 hp with an electric motor producing 95 hp. This mixing should provide the more economical A4 with an electric scope of 50 km (or 31 miles).
The upgraded Audi A4 will be presented sometime in the 2015. It will spawn an allroad version once again.
