The Most Powerful DB9 ever has been unveiled by Aston Martin
Aston Martin has revealed its DB9 GT which will be officially presented at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the United Kingdom this week.
The hand-build DB9 has been on the market since 1950s. The latest GT offering is the result of the English traditional blending of elegance with comfort and performance. The car’s mid-mounted 6.0-cylinder twelve-cylinder engine generates 540 hp and torque of 457 lb-ft. It is proved to be the most powerful DB9 in history!
The product development director at the company says that they had to experience painstaking engineering and fine judgments in order to maintain the effortlessly refined nature of their base GT sports vehicle, to boost power and to introduce ultramodern infotainment systems. Ian Minards also stated in a press release that the DB9 GT is the best of what DB9 actually can be. Moreover, the model under consideration plays first fiddle for high-end grand tourers in this class.
The 2+2 DB9 GT joined to a 6-speed Touchtronic gear box sprints 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds. Meanwhile, its top speed is 183 mph. An Independent double wishbone suspension underpins the GT. Moreover, there will be 3 driving offerings which adjust the dumping. They will be: Track, Sport and Normal.
The vehicle’s exterior was upgraded by new lighting styling, 10-spoke 20-inch alloy wheels and splitter and diffuser coloured in black. The car’s black theme goes on and expands on anodized brake callipers.
There also is a more user-friendly infotainment system among other changes. This system has better connectivity options.
The 2016 Aston Mar5tin DB9 GT will cost starting from $199,950.
