See Stunning Orange Aston Martin Vulcan!
InAutoNews has taken few photos of an outstanding Aston Martin Vulcan. The model has a bright orange colour.
The car can be seen on the exhibition at the Nürburgring test centre. It is considered to be an answer of the automaker to track-only monsters from McLaren (the P GTR) and Ferrari (the FXX K). As distinct from them, the Vulcan has not got any kinds of electric assistance and is an old-fashioned car. A beefy 7.0-litre twelve-cylinder naturally aspirated engine is hiding under its hood. It is able to generate more than 800 hp (or 596 kW)!
An Xtrac 6-sppeed sequential transmission sends the output to the road. Brembo’s carbon fibber brakes provide the stopping power. They feature a derivation of F1’s technology and work with 6-piston callipers at the front part of the vehicle and 4-piston callipers at the vehicle’s back.
The Vulcan can accelerate less than in 3 seconds up to 0-60 mph (or 0-96 km/h). Its top speed is more than 200 mph (or 322 km/h).
This vehicle is considered to be the automaker’s most intense and infatuating car ever. Only 24 units will be produced. Every vehicle will carry an eye-watering price of £1.8 million ($2.8 million or €2.5 million).
