Meet The 1st Hardcore Aston Martin

The Vantage AMR from Aston Martin will be available in 300 units only around the globe.

It will be the company’s variant of BMW’s M and Mercedes-Benz’s AMG. The AMR from Aston Martin was first unveiled at this year’s Motor Show held in Geneva. Now the sub-brand presents its 1st offering that was originated on the Vantage V8 or V12. It can be fitted with an automated sequential manual paddle-shift transmission or with a manual transmission. The eight-cylinder unit receives a 6-speed gearbox. The twelve-cylinder offering receives a 7-speed transmission.

The automaker is sure that the Vantage V8 AMR will come out with 430 hp. Meanwhile the V12 unit will produce 595 hp.

You will be able to choose from 5 colour schemes. 200 units produced will be 8-cylinder ones. The other 100 models will be 12-cylinder units.

Inside the cabin AMR Coupes will feature leather and Alcantara upholstering while AMR Roadsters will have leather only.
