Meet Aston Martin Vulcan in Volcanic Orange Guise
Earlier in 2015 the Aston Martin Vulcan, a track-only hypercar, has dropped off its covers at the Motor Show held in Geneva. Then the vehicle was presented in spearmint green paint. Though, now, the British company decided to show it off in an atomic orange colour.
The model was introduced during Monterey Car Week at a private gathering. We can say for sure that the model under consideration has as mean outlook as ever! The vehicle celebrates the automaker’s motorsports heritage. Besides, it advertises a 7.0-litre twelve-cylinder engine. By the way, it is promised to produce crazy 800 hp.
Carbon fibber was used for the monocoque structure of the car, just like for the model’s bodywork. It is as clear as a day that this gives a strong foundation for the offering. Moreover, thankfully to this, the weight of the car will be really light.
Besides, the motor was mounted amidship. It gives torque to the rear wheels with the help of a limited-slip differential. A track-derived pushrod suspension set-up along with adjustable by the driver dampers helps to manage all that power. Carbon-ceramic brake rotors are squeezed by Brembo callipers. They keep a tight rein of this all.
Be attentive, production of this track-only offering is limited to only 24 units. The Aston Marin Vulcan has racing pedigree that accommodates it to all International Automobile Federation regulations of safety.
