The date of the debut of the new compact SUV from Alfa Romeo 2021 became known

Alfa Romeo in 2021 will present a marketable version of the compact crossover Tonale.

The car is named after a mountain pass in Italy. Local media write that premiere of the car will occur in September. Start of sales of the new car in Europe will start in November. There's no information about prices for the model.

Initially, customers will receive a car in a single Launch Edition, made in limited edition. A direct competitor of the model is the Audi Q3.

The concept car of the future SUV was first shown two years ago in Geneva. The prototype was given design elements that refer to classic cars of the Italian brand. For example, from the side, the cross looks like sports cars Spider Duetto and Disco Volante Spider, with the wheels made in the stylistics of a dial disc, as it was in the old Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale 1966. The production car will not differ in design from the concept car with the same name.
