Four-Wheel Drive Conversion Awaiting Acura
Sources indicate that by 2016 Acura will fully transform to four-wheel-drive mode.
The change will logically affect the current models in their mid-life cycle. For instance, the first candidate for a four-wheel-drive conversion is ILX. Acura sedans will be remodelled for better competitive purposes. Some of the upcoming changes for 2016 TLX include newest headlamps, modern infotainment, smartphone compatibility and a special V4 engine.
The internal source supplying the information is the same that leaked the profile of Acura TLX of the next model year.
RDX will also not be left unattended for 2016: the vehicle will get air conditioning at the back, tailgate on electric drive and, finally, an interior sporting new trim making the car closer to the luxury MDX. Infotainment on both models will be extended by the new media centre and a touchscreen on the console.
