2013 Acura TL Special Edition Unveiled
Acura has just revealed the 2013 TL Special Edition, which provides the vehicle with some appearance refreshments and a raise in technology.
To set itself apart in the appearance dept, the TL Special Edition receives 10-spoke, 18-inch alloy wheels, a color-matched deck lid spoiler and trunk-mounted Special Edition badging. Colors are framed to 4 options: Bellanova White Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl, Graphite Luster Metallic and Silver Moon Metallic.
Inside, the leather surfaces receive body-color matching contrasting stitching. Tech details include power moonroof, 276-watt stereo system with 8 speakers, Bluetooth connection and a touchscreen in the center stack.
Brand’s keyless entry option is also featured with the special version package, which allows the customer to pull on the front door handle to unlock the vehcile, provided the key is in his or her pocket. Moreover, the system will recognize whose key is opening the vehicle, and automatically adjust the driver’s seat, steering wheel, outside mirrors, climate control and stereo system to that client’s settings.
Power is generated by a 3.5-liter V6 that delivers 280 hp and 254 lb-ft of torque.
Cost for the TL starts from $35,905, with the special version model coming in at $37,405. At the highest end, a near-fully loaded TL brings an MSRP of $45,385.
