According to Herbert Diss, chairman of the board of directors of the concern, today, the concern is successfully selling cars in China, making a profit. The country is gradually starting to restore auto production with the resumption of sales. The volumes of output themselves rose to 50% of the level of the auto production plan.
Volkswagen has more than 120 plants worldwide, with 700,000 employees. In Europe, the concern closed its plants in early March.
