Rumble Bee is Heading to Dealer Shows for Evaluation

The Ram 1500 Rumble Bee model is heading to dealer shows where Chrysler will receive a feedback that will play the main role in the decision whether or not it will be mass-produced.

The Rumble Bee was first uncovered at the 2013 Woodward Dream Cruise in Michigan including a style heavily inspired by the Super Bee muscle vehicle from the late 1960s. Based on a 2013 Ram 1500 R/T pickup, the Rumble Bee model is enhanced by a 5.7-liter Hemi with 395 hp and 407 lb-ft of torque.

According to Ram’s marketing chief, Dave Sowers, the American company is gauging interest and seeing whether or not dealerships believe the Rumble Bee has a seat in the market. Obviously, Ram would like to make the Rumble Bee a production car, but of course, it has to know that it’ll be successful.

Regrettably, if the vehicle does make it to production, some of its aspects won’t. That features the matte yellow paint and the real bee in the shifter.
