Mercedes-Benz to optimize compact car lineup

Mercedes-Benz has planned to optimize its compact car lineup to remove some models with poor sales.

As the director of Mercedes-Benz AG, Ola Kallenius, said, the company is not withdrawing from the compact cars segment, which brings good money and reduces it.

Mercedes-Benz will not follow the experience of the big automakers, which are not in the business of producing more budget-friendly vehicles. It turns out the rumors of a cheaper car than the A-Class were not true.

Alas, Callenius did not specify which compact cars will be optimized and disappear from the Mercedes-Benz lineup.
