GMC has circulated a teaser video of the newest electric pickup, which has been prepared with Hummer's legendary name.
The official premiere of the car will take place this fall.
The production of new items will start in the first half of 2021 in Michigan, where Detroit/Hamtramck is located. GM will spend $2.2 billion on refurbishing the plant. Further on, the conveyor will be an electric version of the vast Cadillac Escalade SUV with a GMC Sierra pickup.
In total, the output of the GMC Hummer EV engines will be making at the level of 1000 "horses," and the torque on the shaft will be about 15,500 nm. A pickup truck "hundred" will give in 3 seconds with a maximum power reserve on a single charge of 650 km. The video said that the car would acquire such driving modes as Adrenaline Mode and Crab Mode.
