Ford stops producing sedans
In the spring, the company said it was phasing out the last sedan in its lineup, the Ford Fusion (Mondeo), due to low demand.
Now the American concern will produce crossovers, SUVs, pickups, and a sports car.
The Detroit Bureau has released the latest Ford Fusion. In 2019, the company sold 166 thousand Fusion vehicles in the American market, in the first quarter of 2020 - 37 thousand. The place of the sedan on the conveyor will be taken by a new car - Bronco Sport.
Earlier, Fiesta's production, Focus, and Taurus cars were stopped, and more promising new products from Ford will take their place.
