Ford Mustang turned into a powerful parachute dragster
In the racing division of Ford Performance with the participation of experts from the firms MLe Racecars, Watson Engineering, AEM EV, and Cascadia created a unique Mustang.
The drag version of the Mustang coupe received an all-electric installation with a capacity of 1,420 “horses.”
The 5th rear wheel has appeared in the unique Ford Mustang Cobra Jet to stabilize the car and topple over. They supplemented the vehicle with a unique system with a parachute, able to shoot for an additional brake to complete the race.
The electric coupe passes a drag track 402 meters in less than 8 seconds at an exit speed of 275 km/h. In total, there will be one single instance of the Ford Mustang Cobra Jet.
