Car sales in Italy set an anti-record
The pandemic has disrupted automobile sales worldwide, but Italy has been the most affected.
In April 2020, a total of 98% fewer new vehicles were sold in the country than in April 2019. In the figures of the analyst, the following: for 21 days of April, only 2182 cars were bought in Italy, and last April - 107 930 cars.
We add that in March this year in Italy, sales of new cars similarly issued an anti-record - an 85% collapse. For comparison, in China, the car market is gradually recovering.
The situation may change next month, since dealerships will begin their work in Italy on May 4.
