According to Buick, it will come up with an electric range of 62 miles.
It should be the automaker’s 1st extended EV. It is called the Velite 5 and has a familiar outlook. A teaser reveals that the vehicle will have lots of common things with the new-gen Volt from Chevrolet.
The concept was presented by the company last November. It had a different design. However, the road-going offering will be faithful to the Volt origins. The model will be a Buick-badged Chevy Volt.
According to the automaker, the new offering will benefit from an electric range standing at 62 miles. Meanwhile the U.S.-spec Volt stands at 53 miles.
The offering under consideration will be equipped with a 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 101 hp and torque of 103 pound-feet.
