Bugatti and Rimac team up to create hypercars

Bugatti and Rimac Automobili have officially joined forces to develop new hypercars.

Porsche has a 35% stake, and Rimac Group has a 55%.

From the Rimac division (development of units, batteries, and components), a new division Rimac Technology is formed, which is part of the Rimac Group. Still, it remains independent to continue working with the other companies.

In other areas, Bugatti and Rimac remain separate companies, with production facilities in France and Croatia. The new company will start to be based in Croatian Zagreb in 2023.
