The revived Alpine brand regularly became the winner of rally competitions in the 70s of the last century. On the eve of the French presented a modern car with the basis of the commodity A110, in which individual teams will participate in competitions of the FIA R-GT class.
The novelty was developed together with experts from the French automotive sports team Signatech. For Alpine A110 Rally, a hydraulic suspension with 3 modes, Brembo brakes, a roll cage, sports-type Sabelt "buckets" and 6-point seat belts prepared.
The improved 1.8-liter 1.8-liter turbo engine received a modified peak torque curve. The new capacity is more than 300 "horses." The rally car has a racing 6-speed sequential "box" with a limited-slip differential — traction transmitted to the wheels at the rear. The vehicle will also have an adjustable traction control along with ABS from Bosch Motorsports.
