Pagani Gives the Zonda Another Chapter With the Cervino
Pagani has once again brought the Zonda back into the spotlight, this time with a new creation called the Cervino. The car made its debut at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, proving that the long-running supercar still has more stories to tell.
Rather than starting from scratch, the Cervino uses an existing chassis as its foundation. From there, Pagani’s Unico customization division gave it a completely new set of body panels and a more advanced suspension system.
The suspension has been reworked with fresh dampers, and Pagani says the goal was to strike a balance between the Zonda’s old-school character and modern-day performance expectations. In other words, the company wanted to keep the car’s analog personality intact while making it feel sharper and more capable.
Pagani has not shared technical specifications, but the Cervino is expected to retain the naturally aspirated 7.3-liter V12 that has long been associated with the model. The company is displaying it together with a restored Zonda C12S 7.0, which was brought back to life through its Rinascimento restoration program.
The Zonda’s continued evolution is a reminder of how much life Pagani can still extract from its most iconic machine. Thanks to Unico, owners can keep tailoring their cars in highly personal ways, and the Cervino shows that even a decades-old platform can still be reimagined with style.
