Genesis unveils sleek and beautiful compact GV70 SUV

Premium Korean brand Genesis has presented the compact crossover GV70.

In Europe, the novelty will appear in 2021. The car's main rivals will be the Audi Q5, BMW X3, and the Mercedes-Benz GLC. The new car will join the company's lineup one position below the GV80.

The GV70 has a massive pentagonal grille, two-story optics in the style of the GV80, and extremely unusual rear pillars. The car interior received a digital dashboard, a vast multimedia touchscreen, and a transmission selector washer.

The crossover will also get a Sport version distinguished by an aggressive design performance, 21-inch wheels, and other exhaust pipes.

The whole technical part of the car remains classified. In the publication Car and Driver, they write that among the engines of the novelty, there will be a brand new 2.5-liter Theta III turbo engine with 304 horsepower and a 380-horsepower 3.5-liter 6-cylinder unit. Engines operate with an 8-speed "automatic."

According to rumors, in the future, the crossover will acquire an electric version.
