Supercar Edonis based on Bugatti EB110: a revival

Antonio Calva, owner of the company Casil Motors of Las Vegas, does not think so. In fact, he is going to give even a third life to the supercar Bugatti EB110, which in 1991-1995 produced an Italian company Bugatti Automobili S.p.A. When the firm went bankrupt, several of its former employees bought out the seventeen remaining carbon-fiber monocoques of the EB110 model and organized their own company B.Engineering. The company became a service center for Bugatti cars, and at the same time started building its own car.

The new supercar was given the name Edonis. The carboplastic chassis was supplemented with a modified V12 engine with a larger displacement from 3.5 to 3.8 liters and two large turbochargers instead of the former four - the payoff increased from 611 to 680 hp. Based on the Bugatti gearbox for the car, a new six-speed "mechanics" was created, and the all-wheel drive was replaced with the rear. Finally, the coupe got a new two-seater body painted by the author of the Ferrari F40 by Nicola Materazzi in collaboration with former employee Bertone Mark Deschan. The car was presented with a pomp on January 1, 2001 as "the first supercar of the 21st century".
