Ford will extend the production of GT supercar

The American company will extend the production of cars due to high demand.

Ford GT will be created up to 2022, and the production volume of the supercar will grow from 1000 copies to 1350.

The company's press service informs that now GT wants to buy about 6 times more people than planned. An additional 350 coupes will be available for order from November 1 to December 1, 2018. Cars will appear at customers in 2020-2022.

The new generation of Ford GT debuted 2 years ago. Since that time, cars have wanted to buy about 6,500 people with a draw of 1,000 cars. In one year, the company made only 138 cars instead of the planned 250.

For the new Ford GT is available a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 from the EcoBoost family, developing 655 “horses” and 745 Nm. "Hundred" is given to the coupe for 3 seconds, the maximum speed is more than 345 km/h.
