Ford Focus has become an SUV

Ford showed off-road variations of the Focus Active hatch with the Focus Active Wagon universal on the photo.

Production of new products is engaged in a factory in Saarlouis, Germany. Machines are already available in Europe.

Cars got increased ground clearance, extra bodywork protection made of plastic, huge wheels, and also a retuned suspension. Modifications have new shock absorbers with stabilizers. More new products will delight users with two additional driving modes - Slippery and Trail.

The basis of the hatch and wagon is a completely new modular base C2, created by European engineers Ford. The motors are a 3-cylinder unit on the EcoBoost gasoline of 1.0-liter capacity for 85, 100 and 125 hp. There are still two 1.5-liter V4s for 150 and 185 "horses."
