Ford Might Consider Performance RS SUV Units

The Escape/Kuga duo might be the first one to receive RS treatment.

The automaker wants to develop a high-performance SUV offering. It should be badged as a real member of the RS range. Ford’s global director of performance indicated that this can happen during his conversation with Car Dealer Magazine.

According to him, customers love performance. People prefer vehicles with aggressive appearance. They also like sporty cars with power. So, SUV clients will enjoy performance.

By the way, he is not impressed by nowadays performance SUVs. According to him, Ford can come up with a real performance vehicle.

Looking at the SUV market today, the director says that there are not too many credible performance SUVs. He looks at this as an opportunity to use.
