Tesla cancels its Presence at the Auto Show in Detroit

Tesla is the last company to cancel next year’s Auto Show held in Detroit.

The American electric producer along with MINI and Jaguar Land Rover decided to miss the NAIAS scheduled for the beginning of January. The show’s spokesperson states that the companies decided to pull themselves out because their car presentations do not fall in line with the show’s timing. According to him, some of the space that was freed by the automakers will be occupied by Aston Martin. We remind you that the high-end British company was present at the show in 2009 for the last time.

The parent company of MINI, BMW, will employ the space it has left. Speaking of MINI, it will also miss the next year’s Motor Show held in Geneva.

Not counting all the automakers that pulled out, the Detroit show will host the minimum of 40 global vehicle and light truck premieres.
