Only 200 Units of 2017 Ford GT will be produced

According to the reports, the 2017 Ford GT will be produced with the limit of only 200 cars. Half of them are destined for the United States.

Autoweek writes that production will be capped at just 200 vehicles. During its first model year, the Ford GT will cost near $400,000. The American producer is going to use an application process in order to find out which customers will be entitled to buy the sports vehicle as demand will definitely be bigger than supply.

100 cars will be sent to America while the other 100 will be assigned to the rest of the world.  According to Autrocar, Great Britain will receive less than 20 cars. As to other countries, they will get presumably 10 a piece.

Exact details about the 2017 Ford GT are yet to come. We know that it will receive power from a 3.5-litre twin-turbo EcoBoost six-cylinder engine producing more than 600 hp. The powerplant will be joined to a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The vehicle will be light thankfully to lots of carbon fibber panels.
