Facelifted Ford EcoSport will cost starting from 14,245 pound

Ford UK has stated that the 2015 EcoSport can be obtained on order starting from £14,245.

The renovated EcoSport is a “rearlift” since its main design change can be seen on the vehicle’s back. The spare wheel has been removed. Instead of it there will be a tyre mobility set. Though, clients who enjoy the old outlook have an opportunity to ask the automaker to put the spare wheel back. Probably, a small quantity of them will want that.

The vehicle’s deliveries will begin in October. The customers who want the Titanium variant will get partial leather upholstery and extra chrome body detailing as regular. Paying some more money will give tehm an optional Winter Pack which provides ventilation for rear seats, heated mirrors, heated front seats and heated windscreen. As to the vehicle’s cabin, it will be quieter than earlier. This will be possible thankfully to more sound-deadening materials wrapping the doors and dashboard. There also will be tighter seals around the pedals.

The company’s engineers tweaked the springs, rear torsion beam, dampers, ESP and the electric power-assisted steering. It is supposed to smoother driving. Moreover, Ford’s engineers added 5 hp (or 3 kW) to 95 hp (or 70 kW) to the output of the vehicle’s 1.5-litre TDCi engine.

After the Ford EcoSport’s launch, expect it to be offered with extra goodies. There will be a satellite navigation system and a rear-view camera among them.
