National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Gives 5* to Honda CR-V

Honda CR-V 2014 has the maximum safety rating mark from NHTSA.

The highest mark was given to the SUV for a series of impact crash tests but the rollover situation was not acknowledged perfect by the specialists and got four stars. The tests of Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, however, produced other results. The safety of Honda CR-V was assessed as good and marginal by this organization after a series of examination of impact resistance of different body parts.

The model presenting a 2.4-litre V4 engine producing 185 hp and torque of 163 lb-ft is available for customers for $23,775. The gearbox choice is automatic for five speeds. The car equipped with a two-wheel drive consumes 23 mpg of fuel in rural area and 8 mpg more if driven outside the city limits.
