Geneva to Host New Concept from Maserati
GT concept is going to be presented by the luxury brand in Geneva.
As a herald of a new generation of Maserati sports cars, the future production car will fight for customers alongside Jaguar and Porsche novelties. Possibilities for GT include a twin-turbo engine with six cylinders and displacement of 3.0 litres giving out 410 hp or a larger twin-turbo for eight cylinders coaxing 530 hp. No official confirmation has been given.
Production start is planned for 2016. The full-fledged model will use a shorter platform resembling the ones of the brand’s Ghibli and Quattroporte. The official name of the new vehicle is Maserati Gran Sport and the expected price totals £66,040.
