Four Stars for Safety from NHTSA to Chrysler 200 of 2014

Chrysler 200 of the current model year underwent a safety test from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and was rated by four stars.

From the maximum of five stars the vehicle obtained solid fours from NHTSA for the front and side crash tests as well as rollover situation.

Apart from that, the sedan was given a special recognition from Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. For IIHS it scored well in all tests but one – frontal impact.

Chrysler 200 with a facelift for the next model year has not undergone an NHTSA evaluation yet. The model will be available for sale in a few months.
