The Mercedes-Benz CLC-Class (CL203) was a compact three-door liftback hatchback produced from 2008 until 2011. It represented a comprehensive redesign of the outgoing C-Class Sportcoupe (CL203). The vehicle adopted front-end styling mirroring the W204 C-Class, a redesigned rear hatch with extended LED brake light strips, and an updated interior. Assembly was centralized at the Juiz de Fora manufacturing plant in Brazil.

Underneath the restyled skin, the CLC retained the mechanical architecture of the W203 platform. Engine choices consisted of 1.8-liter supercharged gasoline engines (CLC 180K, CLC 200K), 2.5L and 3.5L V6 engines (up to 272 hp in the CLC 350), and 2.1-liter turbodiesel units in the CLC 200 CDI and 220 CDI. Transmissions included 6-speed manuals alongside 5-speed and 7G-Tronic automatics. Production ended in 2011 when Mercedes launched the C-Class Coupe C204.
