The Lexus RC compact luxury coupe (chassis code XC10) premiered at the Tokyo Motor Show in November 2013, entering production for the 2015 model year. The chassis uniquely integrated the front section of the GS sedan, center section of the IS C convertible, and rear section of the XE30 IS sedan. Exterior styling featured a wide stance, prominent spindle grille, and low-slung roof. The driver-centric cabin offered body-hugging sports seats, touch-pad Remote Touch Interface, and Mark Levinson audio.

Powertrain choices comprised a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder on RC 200t/RC 300, a 3.5-liter V6 on RC 350 (producing up to 311 hp with RWD or AWD), and the RC 300h hybrid. The range-topping RC F track-focused coupe housed a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter 2UR-GSE V8 delivering 467 horsepower through an 8-speed transmission and Torque Vectoring Differential (TVD). A 2018 refresh updated the headlamps, bumper valances, and suspension tuning.
