The flagship Lexus LFA supercar (chassis code LFA10) premiered at the Tokyo Motor Show in October 2009, entering meticulous hand-assembly from December 2010 to December 2012 at Motomachi plant. Limited to exactly 500 individually numbered units worldwide, it featured a bespoke Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) monocoque chassis that reduced weight while optimizing a 48:52 front-to-rear weight distribution. Exterior aerodynamics highlighted speed-sensitive rear wing and iconic triple central exhaust outlets.

Powering the LFA was a high-revving naturally aspirated 4.8-liter 1LR-GUE V10 engine co-developed with Yamaha, producing 552 horsepower and revving up to a redline of 9,000 rpm so rapidly it necessitated a digital tachometer. Paired with a 6-speed Automated Sequential Gearbox (ASG) and carbon-ceramic brakes, the vehicle achieved 0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds. The track-focused Nürburgring Package (50 units) increased output to 563 hp and set a 7:14.64 lap record.
