The first-generation Lexus CT 200h five-door premium compact hatchback (chassis code A10) premiered at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2010, entering production for the 2011 model year. Developed primarily for European markets on the Toyota MC platform, it combined sporty hatchback proportions with an aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.28. The interior featured sustainable bio-fabric upholstery options, Remote Touch controller, and a Drive Mode Select dial controlling EV, Eco, Normal, and Sport driving modes.

The CT 200h was offered exclusively with Lexus's self-charging hybrid drive system, pairing a 1.8-liter 2ZR-FXE Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine with an electric motor for a total system output of 134 horsepower, driving the front wheels through an electronically controlled CVT. Facelifts in 2013 and 2017 added the corporate spindle grille, revised suspension dampening, updated LED lighting, and a 10.3-inch infotainment display until global production ceased in 2022.
