The Cadillac CT5 debuted at the 2019 New York International Auto Show replacing the CTS sedan in the brand's global lineup. Constructed on GM's rear-wheel-drive Alpha 2 architecture, it features a fastback-inspired sedan profile with a sloping roofline and muscular rear haunches. The interior incorporates sport luxury aesthetics with a 10-inch capacitive CUE touchscreen, available head-up display, Bose Performance Series audio, and Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance, offered across Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport trims. The exterior design incorporates distinctive body proportions, sharp character lines, and an iconic front grille featuring the brand's emblem.

Engine choices feature a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four (237 hp) and a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 generating up to 360 horsepower, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission with available all-wheel drive. The range-topping CT5-V Blackwing packs a supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8 outputting 668 horsepower and 659 lb-ft of torque, available with a six-speed manual. A comprehensive 2024 refresh introduced redesigned front fascias and a 33-inch diagonal 9K curved glass display. Standard and optional equipment included advanced active and passive safety systems, multi-zone climate control, and upgraded interior electronics.
