The second-generation flagship hypercar succeeding the Veyron, offering unprecedented structural rigidity and breaching the 300 mph barrier.
Introduced at the Geneva International Motor Show in 2016, the Bugatti Chiron represented a massive evolution in performance, daily usability, and styling language. Built around a brand-new carbon-fiber monocoque that achieved torsional rigidity comparable to Le Mans LMP1 race cars, the Chiron introduced a completely redesigned active chassis and adaptive suspension system. Power comes from an extensively re-engineered 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine featuring sequential turbocharging to eliminate turbo lag, producing 1,500 PS in standard trim and up to 1,600 PS in specialized iterations like the Super Sport and Pur Sport. The engine is mated to an upgraded 7-speed dual-clutch automated transmission with all-wheel drive and electronically controlled differentials. Throughout its production cycle, the Chiron was produced exclusively as a coupe, spawning focused variants such as the track-optimized Pur Sport and high-speed Super Sport 300+, sold in strictly limited numbers to collectors across Europe, the Middle East, North America, and Asia.
