Aran SUV from SEAT
Infotainment system of the SEAT’s first SUV is available online!
The troubled Spanish division of VW is ready to show us the first SUV. It looks like the car has borrowed some sharpness from the 20V20 concept that was presented in 2015. The company will probably sell the car with the name “Aran”.
The MQB-based offering will be 72.4 inches (or 1841 mm) wide, 171.7 inches (or 4363 mm) long and 63 inches (or 1600 mm) high. The vehicle’s wheelbase is going to be 103.8 inches (or 2638 mm) . It will be sold with a regular FWD set-up and an optional four-wheel drive system that can operate only with the beefier motors.
The petrol engine range will spread at the 1.4-litre and 1.8-litre turbocharged units. As to the diesel items, the automaker will offer the Aran with a 2.0-litre TDI with 150 hp and 190 hp. A 6-speed manual transmission or a DSG will be offered, depending on the motor choice.
SEAT will introduce the VW Tiguan-based SUV at March Motor Show held in Geneva. The deliveries will begin this summer.
